1/09/15 Update:
I obviously took a lot of time off in the last year from my personal blog but not from blogging itself. I was a wedding blogger for David Tutera on his blog, "It's A Bride's Life". Now that I am back to my own blog, I want to use it as a way to challenge myself. I am doing this for me! I love to share my crafts, recipes and thoughts with people and this is a great way to do that and document life!
10/14/13 Update:
Blogging everyday was a very ambitious challenge. I started this blog when my life wasn't quite as crazy as it is right now. I'm planning a wedding, job searching, working crazy hours, blogging twice a week for David Tutera as one of his "It's a Bride's Life" Brides, traveling frequently, enjoying life, and trying to do something new and write about it everyday. Hence, some things have to be prioritized and instead of blogging everyday I've been doing everything else!
I did fail on my "Burpee Challenge" for the month after Eric and I got engaged. You can read more about that here. I have about 20 days left in the challenge now. This hasn't been an easy challenge. I am tired of doing burpees!
So, I'm setting a new goal for myself-- blog twice a week on my personal blog. I'll also be blogging twice a week on "It's a Bride's Life". I feel like this is a much more doable challenge. Between recipes, work outs, makeup tricks (I just ordered a ton of makeup from ELF), non-wedding related activities, and new books, I think I'll be more successful. Life is all about trial and error, right?
Thank you for reading along! If you have any ideas or suggestions for blogs, let me know!

I've always wanted to write a blog but who actually cares about what I have to say? I'm in this new phase of life where I'm committing to doing something on a daily basis.
First, it started with making up my bed everyday. I heard on the radio that people who make up their beds daily are more likely to be better with money and more organized. Plus, it only takes 45 seconds to make my bed up each morning. (Credit: Some book called "The Power of Habit" or something like that...)
Second, I started this "Burpee Challenge". It's a 100-day challenge starting with 10 burpees on day one, 11 on day two,.... ending with 110 burpees on day 100. So far, I've done a pretty good job of keeping up. I gave myself a break when I missed four days over 4th of July vacation but since then I have kept up with it.
Now, I've starting a blog and challenging myself to try something new each day. No matter how big or small it is. Whether it's a recipe, a nifty tip, or a workout, I'm going to try something new and blog about it. I'm doing this solely for me. If no one reads, that's perfectly fine... but I want to keep up with something and prove to myself that I can do it!
